Life: God’s Virtual Reality

by Mark A. Staton

Evil

Evil exists. It formed as God formed. Energy plus consciousness led to its creation. The differences between God and His evil counterpart are simple, but with profound implications. Souls that joined with God, did so voluntarily. The Evil one captures souls using force or guile. The souls within God retain their individuality, even when they choose to join consciousnesses with other souls. They retain their free will. They retain their memories. The souls within the Evil one lose their individuality. They lose their free will. They are reduced to being merely units of energy, or pawns. Most lose their memories. Some of the strongest become special agents of evil and retain their memories. Of course, this is commonly offered to souls to lure them away from God, but seldom granted.

The Evil one resisted God's plan for the creation of the physical universe, but in the end, God was able to bring together all of the spiritual energy, both Good and Evil, in order to form His creation. Evil is as widely dispersed throughout the universe as is Good. After the creation, the Evil one reformed, as did God. Fortunately, the Evil one will never be as stable and strong as God. Evil requires a considerable amount of energy just to maintain itself as a single being. If the overall Evil consciousness were to vanish, the Evil being would break apart. The strongest of the evil portions that remained would struggle for domination. If, on the other hand, God's consciousness were to vanish, his form would continue, because it would be supported by all of His individual parts. A new super-consciousness would form, and God would live again.

God's shape is partly a result of resisting Evil before the creation of the universe. By concentrating His best souls at His center, and shielding them from Evil, God is able to maintain a stronghold which Evil is unable to breach. Ironically, the worst souls, around God's perimeter, but still part of God, are not easy for Evil to attack. As long as they stay a part of God, they share His protection. If a soul voluntarily leaves God, it can be taken over by Evil. The Evil one often uses guile to lure souls away from God. Fortunately, the worst of God's souls, are usually just as unreceptive to the Evil one as they are to God.

The outermost color band, or level of Heaven, is red. This level may seem like hell to the poor souls who reside there, but as long as they stay a part of God, they have a chance to move to, or return to, higher levels. Leaving God, and being lost to Evil, is the true and everlasting Hell. At first glance, finding an end to your suffering may seem appealing, but unfortunately, you also lose everything else, including your "self," for ever.

Souls are most vulnerable to the influence of Evil while they are experiencing physical lives. God is much better than the Evil one at helping souls attach to new bodies, but some evil souls get through. There is no easy way to differentiate between people with evil souls from the many good souls that are experiencing lives where they act badly. The vast majority of bad people have good, but immature souls. You should be willing to defend yourself against Evil, as does God, but if you set out to destroy evil, you will fail. You will become evil in the process.
