Life: God’s Virtual Reality

by Mark A. Staton

Consciousness Survives Death

When you die your consciousness does not stop. For while you are reading this, your soul, which is linked to your body through your mind, is sharing this experience. Your soul shares everything that goes through your mind, including every thought, feeling, sensation, and experience. Your soul links your physical body with God.

Your soul is not contained within your body, any more than the music is within the radio, or the pictures within the television set. Your soul is a part of God, and never leaves God. Your soul, like the rest of God, is composed of spiritual energy. A soul is the smallest unit of spiritual energy that can manifest an independent consciousness. A soul is like a single cell in the body of God.

When your brain dies, and the link is broken, your soul doesn't need to "go" anywhere. It is already with God. It merely becomes re-aware of its heavenly surroundings. Heaven is the body of God. When you are looking through a telescope, it may seem like you are close to objects that are really far away. When you remove your eye from the lens, you don't "go" anywhere, you simply see what is actually around you. When your soul looks at the world through your eyes, it experiences the view just like you do. When you die, your soul merely stops seeing the world, and starts seeing heaven once again.

Your soul learns what you learn, and knows what you know. You are all your soul knows, while it is connected. When you die, your soul's consciousness, while remembering you, also becomes aware of its life in heaven. Your soul may have only one life experience, or your soul may have multiple life experiences. The choice is up to your soul. If your soul connects with another body, you will temporarily forget about any previous lives, and your time in heaven. Your soul will become totally immersed in your new life for its duration. When you die again, your soul will "reawake" in heaven. Your consciousness survives death.
