Life: God’s Virtual Reality

by Mark A. Staton

The Creation of the Universe

After God had formed into a ball of energy, in self-defense against the evil energy beings that wanted to consume Him, there was a period of continued growth and learning as more of the good energy beings joined Him. The super-consciousness that arose from the formation of individual consciousnesses became the mind of God. The mind of God controlled the basic structure within the energy collective. The energy field was God's body. All the individual entities within God's energy field struggled to adapt to their new environment, and God gradually refined His internal form and functions. He provided a relatively stable environment within which the individual and small group energy entities could learn, mature, and grow. They found they were able to move about within God, to varying degrees, and communicate with other energy entities, to varying degrees. There was a spectrum of abilities which was weaker in the outer layers, and stronger towards the center of God. God became large enough and strong enough to easily resist all but the most determined attacks by the occasional extra-large evil energy beings, and even they never got close to God's center. Gradually, over a very long period of time, God reached a point of equilibrium. He stopped learning and growing. The individual entities within Him had all reached the limit of their potential, given their limited range of experiences. God decided that being eternal and unchanging was not much better than breaking apart into raw unthinking energy. He wanted something more, but did not know what there could be. He was willing to take a chance for a better future, even if failure meant His destruction. This idea led to the creation of the Universe.

During the many battles with the evil energy beings, God observed that a forceful combination of good (positive) and evil (negative) energy beings would sometimes result in the annihilation of both, and the creation of what we know as "matter." In a slow struggle, either the good was consumed by the evil, or the evil was split apart or converted by the good. Only after sudden and violent contact was matter ever created. This matter had many interesting properties. It offered new forms of interaction, but it existed in very limited quantities, with few possibilities. God decided to transform all the energy into matter. He gathered together all the raw energy He could find, together with His immense body of good energy. Raw energy exists either in amounts too small to contain a consciousness, or larger, but disordered fields. He constricted all the energy as much as possible, and energy began moving towards this concentration from all directions. The evil energy beings soon realized what was happening, and were afraid this was a new form of attack. They resisted with all their might. For once, all the evil energy beings were in agreement; united against their common foe. They too gathered all the raw energy available, and began moving as far away from the growing cloud of good energy as possible. As more and more energy merged with God's concentrated energy field, the attraction grew stronger, and reached farther and farther. Soon the evil energy group felt the pull, and resisted as long as they could. The stronger ones actually helped the weaker ones, for the first time, in an effort to save themselves. When they finally could resist no longer, they all fell toward God in a great rush. For one brief moment, all of the energy was together. With the addition of the evil energy, the cloud of energy constricted faster and faster. It happened so quickly that there was not yet time enough for a reaction between the two forms of energy. Then all was transformed into new forms of energy. The energy that eventually cooled and became matter. This was the Big Bang that created our universe.
