Spiritual Levels: Green

The Green level is the first level where souls are predominantly good. It is at the midpoint of the other levels, and the majority of souls eventually reach the Green level. Most of the souls at the Green level have experienced a single earthly life. A smaller number reached the Green level after merely sharing memories with other souls who had experienced lives and from visiting other levels. Some remain at Green after experiencing two or more lives.

Since the souls at the Green level are mostly good, many souls are content to stay there, and don't really have a desire to advance. The souls have their faults, but are relatively easy to get along with. They may wonder why the souls whose faults annoy them the most are there, while being oblivious to their own faults. They don't really care for visits from higher levels, since the souls from the Blue or Violet levels seem to have such a 'holier than thou' attitude. They respect the 'Beings of Light,' from the inner circle, but they are completely different, and not like regular souls at all, so they don't count. When they do pay attention to the advanced souls, they don't really understand them very well.

The souls who feel the pull and want to advance and move closer to God's center, there are many opportunities for learning. Souls at the Green level can visit up one level or down two levels for brief periods. They try to help those at Orange and Yellow, and to learn from those at Blue. In fact, their experiences trying to teach those at lower levels, helps them appreciate the difficulties faced by Blue level souls trying to help them. As in life, sometimes the key to helping yourself is to help others.

Although there is certainly not an exact correlation between the number of lives experienced and advancement, the souls who experience more lives tend to advance. They take a small chance each time that the experience will hurt them, but the more lives experienced, the less the chance that any one life would overwhelm the effects of their other experiences. It is quite possible to learn from a life filled with mistakes.

If they ask for help, there are many advanced souls willing to provide it. Many times, the key to advancement to the Blue level is in removing bad thoughts which are holding them back, rather than adding more good thoughts. The souls who want to advance usually have much good in them, and they see the same good in souls from Blue, so they have trouble seeing what is different or better in the Blue souls. It can be a difficult thing to see one's own faults, or to correct them.
