Spiritual Levels: Blue

The Blue level is filled with souls who are mostly good. They are not just somewhat more good than bad as are found at the Green level. They all try to help each other, and are well aware of their own flaws. They can visit up one or down two levels, and often do so. They learn all they can from souls at the Violet level, and they teach all they can to those at the Green level. On the Yellow level, they serve as good examples, but their ability to teach there is limited by the inexperience of most of the souls there.

Many, if not most, of the souls at the Blue level have experienced multiple lives. They have learned from their successes and failures. They often awaken in Heaven, and after the reconciliation process when their memories return, they feel they did not live up to their potential. To move up from Green they had to learn to see their own flaws, but many of them become obsessed with focusing on just their flaws. They take for granted how much good is in them, and end up feeling painfully inadequate.

Of course, the other souls there, and visitors from Violet, try to help them, but for many of these souls it merely adds one more thing they are doing wrong to their list of faults. Indeed, the souls on the Blue level tend to be harder on themselves than those of any other level. Only the ones who learn to forgive themselves move on.

A small portion of souls on the Blue level do not have a strong desire to move on. Some of them were just marginally better than those at the Green level, and managed to move up a level without having any goal of doing so. They probably would have been content with staying at Green, and they find Blue to be even nicer, so they really don't want to go anywhere. After all, souls at the Blue level are usually nice to other souls. They just have trouble being nice to themselves.
